ALL ABOUT TILE GROUT

Clean tile grout, epoxy tile grout, remove grout porcelain tiles

However careful we take care of the tiles sometimes the tiles get stained due to some food or some colored item falling in the grout. Removal of such tile grout is a big process. Laying tiles is much easier than the removal of tile grout. All tiles are liable to get dirty. In such cases it has to be removed with much care so that the damaged tile alone has to be removed without damaging the other tiles.

First try to clean the grout with some chlorine or bleaching liquid and leave to soak for over night and then in the morning see if the stain is removed, if not it has to be removed and then replaced by different grout.

First the tile grout it removed with special tile cutters. They are electric cutters with round wheel like blades. As the wheel rotates and placed in the tile it cuts the tile. So much care has to be taken while cutting, not to cut the unwanted areas. After cutting it can be removed and the hole can be filled with the same colored powder mixed with water. The hole is pasted with it and it is smoothened with a wooden smoothener and then let to dry for some time. It will dry very quickly.

Tile grout has to be maintained later on. It has to be cleaned with soap and water now and then. While laying the tiles itself the same colored grout is to be used. It is choose a dark color since it doesn’t gets stained easily and even if it does it won’t be visible prominently being dark in color. Keeping the floor in good condition is important. But however careful we are it happens now and then that it gets spoiled. And as years pass by there comes a situation that it has to be remedied. Once remedy is made it has to be maintained as usual .Regular cleaning and using chlorine or bleaching powder now and then is necessary.

While laying tiles see to it that they are laid as closely as possible so that the gap in between is less visible and hence dirt won’t get deposited in it. In toilet and kitchen where water is used often sometimes due to hard water the tiles get stained.

Care should be taken to clean it regularly but sometimes it goes beyond our control then the tile grout has to be changed. We can postpone the changing process as long as possible. Take care of your tiles and try to avoid damage being caused.

Avoid using excess of chlorine or bleaching liquid unless it is necessary, it will spoil the shine of the tile.
